Gerf likes men comes from a CWRU Quote perpetrated by Farns during the 2003-04 year at Case Western Reserve University. While not actually a true statement, it has become a part of FckInc lore and is often used in conversation to reiterate Gerf's supposed tendency towards men.
Gerf was first declared to be "gay" in middle school or early high school, probably by a certain Dr. Ew. During those days, calling people "gay" was like calling people "retarded" in that both terms were not only used incorrectly but also very stupidly. For one reason or another, "Gerf" and "gay" stuck, perhaps because they both start with G, or…?
In the mid-2000s, Gerf was in a relationship in which his counterpart also proclaimed "Gerf likes men," despite her being female.
From January to November 2008, Gerf lived in an apartment with a homosexual roommate. This, of course, greatly added to the suspicion of Gerf actually being gay. Gerf's roommate, and his roommate's boyfriend, both knew of Gerf's supposed gayness; when asked by another friend whether or not Gerf was gay, the boyfriend replied, "Give it time."
Gerf currently lives alone in a one-room apartment with a reeeeeeeally big closet.
